Third Level Graduate Scheme (Stamp 1G)
What the post-study work right actually is.
The Third Level Graduate Scheme (Stamp 1G) lets eligible graduates of recognised Irish qualifications remain in Ireland to seek employment for a limited period. It is not a guarantee of a job, salary, employment permit or settlement. Rules are set by the Irish Immigration Service and can change.
Eligibility, simply put
- You must have successfully completed an eligible Irish qualification (Level 8, 9 or 10 on the National Framework of Qualifications, subject to current rules).
- You must have held valid Irish Stamp 2 permission for your studies.
- The length of Stamp 1G permission depends on award level and current Irish Immigration Service rules.
- To work long-term, you typically need to move to a relevant employment permit / visa stamp.
