FAQ

Honest answers, before you commit.

The most common Canada & Centennial questions, answered without spin.

Are Centennial programs PGWP-eligible?

Many are, provided you meet IRCC rules in force at the time of application, study at the qualifying campus and maintain full-time status. We verify the specific program against the current IRCC PGWP eligibility rules with you before recommending.

What English score do I need?

Across these featured programs the published minimums are: IELTS Academic 6.5 (no band below 6.0), TOEFL iBT 88, PTE 60, Duolingo 125, or CAEL 70. You may be exempt if you meet Centennial’s English language proficiency exemption requirements.

What does first-year tuition really cost?

Estimates vary from CAD 17,000 to CAD 23,000 per year depending on program. Application fee is roughly CAD 110–125. Verify with Centennial before applying.

Can I work while I study?

Eligible international students can typically work part-time during studies under IRCC rules in force. Some programs include optional work terms or applied projects. We map this out program-by-program.

Can you compare Centennial with the other Canadian polytechnics?

Yes — we give you a balanced view across Seneca, Humber, George Brown, Centennial, Sheridan, BCIT, SAIT, NAIT, Fanshawe and Conestoga so you choose with confidence, not pressure.
